Solving Your Chimney Problems

Chimney Lining is a very simple solution to several chimney problems.

  • Please remove any items around the mantelpiece and hearth and any un burnt fuel on the fire.
  • Please ensure that your fire has not been used for 24 hours as we cannot sweep a fire that is still warm.
  • We will cover the fire place with a heavy duty sheet and use soot cloths to retain the soot behind.
  • Dust sheets are also used in the area where the sweep is working, however light furnishings or anything of particular value should be covered or removed.
When an appointment with one of our chimney sweeps has been confirmed, he has allocated the time and driven to your property. If work cannot be undertaken for whatever reason he is entitled to charge a fee to cover his time and petrol.

What We Offer

Chimneys should be swept at least once a year when burning smokeless fuels and more often when burning wood or coal.

It is important to sweep chimneys regularly so as to ensure that soot is removed to reduce the risk of chimney fires.

Also when you burn fossil fuel it produces Carbon Monoxide (Co). This can be fatal so it is essential to have your chimney swept regularly and also will help reduce the risk of the chimney being blocked by birds, birds nests, cobwebs and soot.

Our office is open 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday and Saturday from9am – 12pm. There is an answer machine available outside of these hours.

You will be given an approximate time slot – 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm. We will endeavour to be on time to each appointment, however please be patient as previous jobs, traffic etc can delay the sweeps time of arrival.
